I wasn't going to eat dinner tonight, but I got a phone call from my cousin and started eating as I talked. I ate two slices of chicken breast, a jalepeno string cheese, and a Carnation Instant Breakfast shake. I really need to work on not eating while I'm on the phone. I wasn't hungry to begin with, but I fidget when I'm on the phone. I always have, my mind goes other places and I have to do something menial to keep up with the conversation.
Maybe you could start keeping a notepad or coloring book or something by the phone. My mom is a fidgeting phone person too, and every time she makes a phone call, especially to like, DirectTv or something, she has a whole sheet of doodles when she's done! If it's more of an oral fixation, maybe you could try something like a cup full of lollipops or something.
